Organization Membership
The Auckland Photographic Society is Auckland's original photographic society having been formed in 1883. Today it is a modern camera club running competitions, workshops and events designed to help you improve your photography and meet other photographers.
We have workshops on first Thursdays of each month. These include tutorials, presentations from photographers, and celebrations of our members’ achievements.
Every third Thursday we run a competition night where member's images are critiqued by an experienced independent judge. The feedback helps members improve their photography
Membership fees are $75.00 p.a. (Individual) and $115.00 p.a. (Couples) for a twelve month period from your date of payment. You are welcome to attend our meetings as a guest but you need to be a financial member to enter competitions and participate in field trips.
